What Is DaVinci DPF EGR DTC?
DaVinci DPF EGR DTC v1.0.28 is a professional ECU file modification tool developed by FairLight Inc. It allows technicians and tuners to permanently disable emissions-related systems — DPF, EGR, AdBlue, TVA, MAF and more — by editing the ECU binary file directly. It does not work via basic OBD2 dongles. It requires an ECU reading tool such as KTag, Kess V2, KT200 or BDM100.
How DaVinci Works — The Correct Workflow
- Read the ECU — Use KTag, Kess V2, KT200 or BDM100 to extract the ECU binary (.bin) file
- Open in DaVinci — Launch DaVinci_EGR_DPF_DTC.exe and load your .bin file
- Select ECU variant — Choose the correct ECU from the list (e.g. Bosch EDC17CP20)
- Toggle systems OFF — DPF, EGR, AdBlue, TVA, Lambda, Flaps, Start/Stop
- Save modified file — DaVinci writes the changes to the binary
- Write back to ECU — Use your reading tool to flash the modified file back
What Systems Can Be Disabled
- DPF — Diesel Particulate Filter regeneration maps removed from ECU memory
- EGR — Exhaust Gas Recirculation permanently deactivated in software
- AdBlue/SCR — AdBlue injection and NOx sensor logic removed
- TVA — Throttle Valve Actuator maps disabled
- MAF / Lambda / Flaps — Sensor maps removed
- Start/Stop — Auto start/stop disabled permanently
- DTC codes — Fault codes read and cleared
Compatible ECU Reading Tools
DaVinci needs a raw .bin ECU dump file. Any of these tools will produce the correct output:
- KTag (all hardware versions)
- Kess V2 / Kess3
- KT200
- BDM100 / BDM Frame
- PCMFlash
Supported ECUs
DaVinci supports over 25 Bosch, Delphi, Siemens and Continental ECU variants including EDC17, MED17, EDC16, ME7, PPD1.x, DCM3.7, DCM6.2, PCR2.1, CRD2, CRD3 and Denso VEA Diesel. See the full list on the product page.
