What Version Should You Use in 2025?

Use PTT 2.8.241. The D13TC Turbo Compound support alone is reason enough to upgrade — any 2022+ VNL working at full torque output uses D13TC, and without 2.8.241 you cannot diagnose the turbo compound system. The FH Gen5 session stability fix is also critical for European market shops.

The only reason to keep 2.8.150 or 2.8.210: if you have a specific license for that version and are waiting for renewal. For day-to-day work on current trucks, 2.8.241 is the only correct choice.
